Alex Nickerson is a Senior consultant on our Workplace Safety team and is the owner of Nickerson Safety Inc. Alex holds an Honours Bachelor of Technology in Construction Engineering Project Management and has 17 years of experience and training in construction project management and workplace safety. Alex has worked with consultants, engineers, designers, and builders to mitigate risk to workers and diminish company liability in construction, industrial, commercial and institutional settings. Alex holds an abundance of relevant and exclusive accreditations, certifications and licenses in both Health and Safety and industrial operations, including CPO Working at Heights and TSSA Propane for Roofing and Construction Heat. Having participated in numerous governmental and corporate health & safety committees, Alex is a sought-out after trainer and consultant on industrial Health & Safety practices. When he is not reviewing crane failure cases, Alex enjoys his volunteer committee and Board work in agriculture safety, children’s camp safety, and construction safety.
