Matana Weitz is an investigator on our Sports & Recreation and Human Factors teams, specializing in sports facilities, snow and water sports, and trampoline incidents. Matana joined Advantage Forensics in 2024 after interning with the firm in 2020. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). Matana is a voting member of the American Society for Testing & Materials. She combines her expertise in sport & recreation safety with her analytical skills to assess contributing factors in complex incidents. When she is not busy measuring ski hill slopes, Matana enjoys baseball, skating, and hiking with her family.
